California’s 2018-19 Budget contains several allocations which will soon be available to counties and cities which have declared homeless housing emergencies. Sonoma County’s Continuum of Care Committee, staffed by the County Community Development Commission, will be the arena in which at least somewhere between $12.1 and $16.9 million worth of permanent supportive housing funds will be distributed to community agencies, nonprofit, and profit developers to construct housing for homeless in the next couple of years.
